LSRPA (“we,” “our,” “us”) values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our application (“App”), available on the Apple App Store. By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

  • Personal Information: Name, email address, organization and other details you provide during registration.
  • Conference Participation Data: Session selections, networking preferences, and feedback submitted through the App.
  • Device Information: IP address, operating system, device type, and app usage statistics.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the App, such as session duration, features accessed, and crash reports.
  • Optional Information: If you choose to enable features such as push notifications or location services, we may collect related data.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Facilitate conference registration and participation.
  • Provide schedules, updates, and personalized recommendations.
  • Enable networking features between attendees.
  • Improve the App’s functionality and user experience.
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

Opt In/Op Out Policy for Attendee list

Under this policy, attendees are listed in the attendee list on the LSRPA App to help foster pre-event networking. If a user does not want their name and company name to be listed and viewed by other attendees, he/she needs to explicitly opt out by changing the visibility setting on the Setting menu to be ‘invisible’.

Attendees’ contact information (e.g. email address, phone number) is NOT disclosed to other attendees unless users explicitly exchange their contact information to other attendees via the LSRPA App.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. Only your name and company name will be visible to other attendees on the LSRPA app, unless you opt out of the app (e.g. through the app settings). We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

  • App Service Providers (MemberLeap, Apple and Google): These trusted service providers deliver infrastructure and functionality of the app (e.g., hosting, analytics, customer support). They may have limited access to certain profile information, such as your email address and phone number, as necessary to operate the app securely. Passwords are encrypted and not shared in plain text. Service providers only receive the data required to perform their role.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, or legal process.
  • Security and Compliance: Information may be shared when necessary to protect the rights, property or safety or attendees and the organization. This may include preventing fraud, protecting the integrity of the app, or responding to security incidents.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

6. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security

7. Children’s Privacy

Our App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that a child has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws, including:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
  • Opt out of certain data uses (e.g., marketing communications from LSRPA).
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format.

9. International Users

Although our nonprofit is based in New Jersey, the App may be accessed globally. If you use the App outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S.

10. Third-Party Services

The App may link to third-party websites or services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those services, and we encourage you to review their policies separately.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted within the App and on our website with a revised “Last Updated” date.
